pfSense®- Firewall Subscription

With the pfSense® firewall subscription, you get a powerful, preconfigured firewall solution on a rental basis, including monitoring and remote backup of the configuration. Ideal for anyone who needs maximum security but doesn’t want to buy hardware.

Powerful hardware – flexible selection

The subscription offers a choice between the following three Netgate models:

• Netgate 4200 MAX pfSense+ Security Gateway
• Netgate 6100 MAX pfSense+ Security Gateway
• Netgate 8200 MAX pfSense+ Security Gateway

All devices are delivered preconfigured and are ready for immediate use. Setup is not included in the subscription.

Included services

• Preconfigured delivery
  The device is delivered with basic configuration.
• Firewall monitoring
  The appliance is continuously monitored to detect failures at an early stage.
• Remote backup of the pfSense® configuration
  Regular backups ensure that configurations can be quickly restored.
  
  

Flexible rental period

• Rental period: 3 years
• During the term, an upgrade to a more powerful model is possible at any time.
• A downgrade is only possible in conjunction with a term extension.
• After the 3 years have expired, a new rental device can be obtained.
  
  

Optional addition: professional support

Firewall setup is not included in the subscription.
For installation, we recommend adding a suitable pfSense® support package.
